Questions on women seeing the lines of the men and making the adhaan outside of the masjid.
The mu'adhin will have the longest neck on youmul-kiyyamah (the day of judgement) and the trees and rocks supplicate and bear witness on the day of reckoning for the caller to prayer.
[Q1]: In our masjid in Toronto, at the time of salaat, the sisters move from their area to the brother’s area of the musalla. They do this in order to see the rows of the men. We understand that some of the ‘ulamaa are of this opinion. However, they still place barriers between themselves and us (dividers), what is the correct position in this affair?
[Q2]: We live in a Non-Muslim country (Canada). However, in wishing to cling to the authentic sunnah, we make the adhaan outside, loud and clear. The kuffar have not complained and we have no problems. However, the question arises, ‘Is this necessary since the people are non-Muslims and won't respond?’ Should we continue to make the adhaan outside?
