From the worst evils of hizbiyyah (partisanship) is the improper ruling and application of takfeer (ruling one to be a kaafir) at the hands of the people of party-sprit. A much need exposure of this disease which has engulfed much of the ummah.

I said: What should I do Messenger of Allaah, if I (happen) to live in that time? He replied: You will listen to the ameer and carry out his orders; even if your back is flogged and your wealth is snatched, you should listen and obey."
