HearMe is a professional solution for webcasts and presentations. It is a sister-company of PalTalk and uses similar technology only with much higher quality audio and video feeds. The features are just as easy to use, the same basic PalTalk layout only it is entirely web-based, no software to install and has absolutely no yucky banners or advertisements. In addition, it supports group conferencing (several mics at once) and unlike PalTalk, you will be able to see the video feed without purchasing a premium account (a PalTalk requirement for seeing video). We will also be able to share PDFs and other presentation documents in real-time with you during the classes, giving you a real classroom feel. If you have used PalTalk before, then you will recognize the HearMe environment quite easily.
From the Benefits
I’m a Registered Summer Course Student, How Do I Access the Room? Check your email (the one you signed up to the courses with) for the private URL to access the courses with. The URL will be emailed out to all registered students before Tue. 24th of June 2008 insha’Allah. There will be a test-run on Wed. June 25th @ 7PM-9PM EST for those who want to sign in and test out the room. This opportunity is being provided to make sure you are able to login and answer any questions you may have.
