On Saturday 2018.06.30, the Salafī community in Toronto had the pleasure of conducting their first lecture link with Shaykh Muḥammad Ghālib al-ʿUmarī (Dubai, UAE). The lecture, translated by Ustādh Abū Idrīs (Birmingham, England), laid out a roadmap for the potential student of knowledge; the traits that exemplify the upright moral character that is requisite of such a noble pursuit.

Allāh is al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm

A short and inspiring khuṭbah at Masjid al-Furqān (TROID) on 2018.07.27 wherein Shaykh Muḥammad Ghālib al-ʿUmarī delivered his first address to the community of Toronto, Canada. The noble speaker explains the beautiful names and attributes of Allah, al-Raḥmān (The Most Merciful) and al-Raḥīm (The Giver of Mercy). The Shaykh explains the general mercy that encompasses all of His creatures (in this world), and the specific mercy for the believers on the Day of Reckoning. He concludes by speaking about being merciful to others and how the extremists (terrorists) have opposed the manners of the Muslims with their horrendous behaviour.

The ʿAqīdah of al-Rāziyayn

  Shaykh Muḥammad Ghālib al-ʿUmarī

A three part lecture series covering the works of Abū Ḥātim al-Rāzī (d. 277AH) and Abū Zurʿah al-Rāzī (d.264 AH). The treatise entitled al-ʿAqīdah al-Rāziyayn (العقيدة الرازيين) is a short classical work expounding upon core tenants of the Islamic faith as well as expelling foreign innovatory concepts. The lecture series took place on the weekend of July 27-29th, 2018 (1439 AH) in Toronto, Canada.
