Benefit: The Doubt - We Should Spread Knowledge But Not Speak About Refutation

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Some of the people claim saying, "we should encourage the students to seek knowledge but we shouldn't speak about the issues of refutation, misguidance and deviation…when we encourage them to seek knowledge then they will be able to determine this (falsehood)." This doubt is prevalent today, used by those who know that the Salafī will not accept the idea of being silent about ahl al-bidʿah outright; so smartly, the unscrupulous one tries to convince them that we can simply spread knowledge and the falsehood will become clear (a ploy to prevent the dissemination of knowledge-based refutation). Shaykh ʿʿUbayd al-Jābirī answers this doubt clearly. Narrated by Abū ʿIyāḍ Amjad Rafīq.
