Benefit: The Benefits of Suḥūr

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

From the benefits of the suḥūr is that you wake up at a time of acceptance [of duʿāʾʾʾʾ] where our Lord descends to the lowest heaven and He says:

Is there anyone who asks so I may give to him? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness so I may forgive him?

Likewise, from the benefits of the suḥūr is that the angels send their blessings upon those who act upon this sunnah [i.e. having suḥūr]. Also, from its benefits is that it is an opportunity for charity (to feed) those who do not have anything to eat for suḥūr.
