Benefit: Whoever Has Fasts to Make Up from the Previous Ramaḍān, It Is Necessary for Him to Do So in Sha‘bān before the Upcoming Ramaḍān

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (حفظه الله) said: “It is not permissible to postpone making up fast [from the previous Ramaḍān] until after the other Ramaḍān [i.e. the new Ramaḍān] without an excuse, because of ʿĀʾishah's statement (رضي الله عنها): 'I had some fast to make up from Ramaḍān and I was not able to do so except in Shaʿbān because of my duties toward ِAllah's Messenger (ﷺ).'" (Reported by al-Bukhārī and Muslim).

Benefit: Why All Deviant Groups Show Enmity Towards the Salafīs

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar Bāzmūl (حفظه الله) was asked: “Why do all the [deviant] groups show enmity towards the Salafīs?”

The Shaykh (حفظه الله) stated: "This is because their views and opinions are contradictory to Salafīyyah. Salafīyyah not only clarifies their contradictions but also deems them to be innovators. This is what is meant [by the Prophet (ﷺ) when he said:] 'All of them [i.e the groups] are in the Fire, except one.' It was said: 'Which group, O Messenger of Allāh?' He (ﷺ) said: 'That which I and my Companions are upon.' He (ﷺ) also said in another narration: 'The Jamā‘ah.'"

Benefit: Why Don't All the Mosques Come Together and Solve the Problems of the Youth?

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Many questions from Muslims, young and old, are based on the topic of unity among Muslims. It is often asked, "Why don't all the mosques come together with the common objective of helping the youth?" Is this the unity Allāh commanded us with? Why is there so much differing amongst the Muslims? Our brother, Abū ʿAbdillāh Ḥasan al-Ṣumālī, comprehensively addressed this important question and clarifies some misconceptions on this topic. Take a listen to this response and understand the reality of unity. May Allāh guide you.

Benefit: Women Removing Their Clothes in Other Than Their Husband’s House

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

On the Authority of ʿĀʾishah (raḍi Allāhu ʿanhā) that some women from Ḥoms sought permission to enter upon her, and she replied: "Perhaps you are from those who enter the bathhouses. I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: 'Any woman who removes her clothes in other than her husband’s house has torn the screen between her and Allāh'". [Graded ṣaḥīḥ by al-Albānī in his ṣaḥīḥ of sunan ibn Mājah.]

Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn: "If this Ḥadīth is authentic—that any woman who removes her clothes in other than her husband’s house has torn the screen—then it means that she removes her clothes in a situation where it is feared someone unlawful can enter upon her."

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Mūsá Richardson: "Those who have stepped up in the West to replace our scholars." The one (Yasir Qadhi) who entered into agreements with Ahl al-Bidʿah,, severing the ties of his followers, slowly but surely, then he dragged them to cooperate with Sūfīs, Shīʿah, setting aside differences and avoiding criticism. "These cowards and sissies with certificates and diplomas stand side-by-side with them (Ahl al-Bidʿah,) and cannot speak. It is the scholars who love the Ummah who will speak when people fail to speak, the scholars who love Allāh, and they are not looking for recognition of the people and approval and applause…the like of Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān, Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī and their brothers from the Scholars…"
