Brotherhood between the Believers and Its Fruits

  Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī

Our noble brother Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī (may Allāh preserve him) explains a monumental work by Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (from the Kibār al-ʿUlāmāʾ) entitled Brotherhood Between the Believers and its Fruits. Brotherhood and sisterhood in al-Islām is more important than that established by ties of the families. From the means of increasing in this love and mercy is avoiding suspicion which is thinking bad of you brother or sister in terms of the character, manhaj and ʿaqīdah, when this person is known to be an upright person. In addition, avoiding spying which Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān described as searching for a defect in the people. Furthermore, refraining from ghībah (backbiting) which is to mention something about your brother or sister which is disliked.

Seminar: Explanation of the Ḥadīth of Kaʿb ibn Mālik

  Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī

Our noble brother Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī delivers a series of lectures from the 2009 Toronto seminar,  From the Gems of the Sunnah: Benefits from the Story of Kaʿb ibn Mālik, explaining the great ḥadīth of Kaʿb ibn Mālik and his patience, compliance and obedience of the orders of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhī wa-sallam). This ḥadīth is one which makes the heart melt, and the eyes shed tears.

The Blessing of al-Islām

  Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī

A wonderful sermon given by our noble brother, Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī regarding the endless bounties which Allāh has gracefully bestowed upon mankind, the greatest of which is guidance to Islām and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the noble Companions. He also expounds upon this by explaining that Islām is a religion which is all-encompassing and leaves no room for doubt or ambiguity; a religion which highlights through its principles the importance of preserving the cohesive structure of the family unit and the community as a whole.

The Virtues of the Scholars and the Importance of Taking Their Advice

  Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī

A brilliant reminder from our noble brother, Abū Muḥammad al-Maghribī, based upon the works of the respected Shaykh, Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān regarding the virtues and lofty status of the Scholars of al-Islām, and the importance of sticking to their advice due to their foresight and wisdom. A most beneficial reminder for the Muslims to take heed of especially in this day and age, where the knowledgable Scholars are reviled and rejected, and the foolish youth proclaim knowledge whilst the ignorant follow like cattle to the slaughter.
