In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
Speak Good or Remain Silent!
From a dawrah with Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Bukhārī, in Medinah. Here, the Shaykh explains the Ḥadīth of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) “Whosoever believes in Allāh and the last day then let him speak good or remain silent.” The Shaykh is a former student of Shaykh Muḥammad Amān al-Jāmī and is well known to the Salafī scholars. Translated by Abū Ḥakīm Bilāl Davis.
In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
Shaykh Muḥammad Amān ibn ʿAlī al-Jāmī (رحمه الله) said: "Only knowledge allows you to differentiate the callers to the truth from the callers to falsehood; consequently, if you are deprived of it, the truth becomes unclear—and Allāh’s refuge is sought—and whoever is confused by knowledge becomes lost. Therefore, you must ask continuously in your supplications for the truth to remain clear to you."

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
Shaykh Muḥammad Amān ibn ʿAlī al-Jāmī (رحمه الله) said: “Reciting the Qurʾān is the best type of worship, even if its meaning is incomprehensible to you.”
قال الشيخ (رحمه الله): "قراءة القرآن عبادة، من أفضل العبادات؛ بل أفضل العبادات على الإطلاق، ولو كنتَ لا تفهم المعاني".

The mere existence of scholars of al-jarḥ wa-al-taʿdīl (the science of criticism and praise in Islām) is a favour from Allāh and a form of preservation of His religion.
In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
The term “Jāmiyyah” [i.e. jamīs]—just like the term “Wahhābiyyah” [i.e. wahābīs]—are names which the people of Ḥizbiyyah—from the Ikhawīs and other than them—coin Ahl al-Sunnah, the Salafīs, those who are upon the way of the way of the pious predecessors, those upon moderation and the middle way, so that the people may turn away from their upright daʿwah upon the Book and the Sunnah.
This name [Jāmiyyah or Jamīs] first appeared during the invasion of Saddam Hussein in Kuwait and the other nearby nations. Thus, the scholars disapproved of this transgression and due to this a number of people who were supporting Saddam from the Ikhwanīs and Ḥizbīs stopped. Furthermore, Shaykh Muḥammad Amān al-Jāmī was among those who took it upon himself to refute these transgressions.
The blessed month of Ramaḍān is a time of worship and performing righteous deeds; however, during this blessed time, numerous errors exist. The following is a compilation of some random errors identified by Islamic scholars.
From the Five Pillars dawrah with the Shaykh, in Medinah (2012). Here, he explains the Ḥadīth of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), “Whosoever believes in Allāh and the last day then let him speak good or remain silent.” Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Bukhārī is a former student of Shaykh Muḥammad Amān al-Jāmī and is well known to the Salafi scholars. Translated by Abū Ḥakim Bilāl Davis.
Upon the death of the Shaykh, Shaykh Ibn Bāz wrote of him: "He was known to me for his sound knowledge and correct ʿaqīdah and his activeness in the field of daʿwah to Allāh (subhānahu wa taʿāla) and warning against the innovations and deviation. May Allāh forgive him and grant him an abode in Paradise and make noble his offspring and join us all in His Noble House (Paradise). Indeed, He is the All-Hearing and Near (with His Knowledge)." al-ʿAllāmah, al-Shaykh Muḥammad Amān ibn ʿAlī al-Jāmī [born 1349/1927 - died 1418/1997] (raḥimahullāh) is from the well-known Scholars of ahl al-Sunnah. Originally born in al-Ḥabaashah (Ethiopia), he travelled to Saudi Arabia to seek knowledge. He was appointed to teach at the Islamic University and the Prophet’s Masjid in Madīnah, Saudi Arabia. He strove to call the ummah to the correct Aqīdah and Tawḥīd.
