Perhaps admin could comment on the possibility of changing the times...
We thank you for your suggestion. Although it would be nice to begin the courses at an earlier time daily (so we would finish by maghirb), it would grant one solution but replace it with a greater problem in general. If classes begin at 6:00 or 6:30, this will not allow most of the brothers to attend (locally or online) in the EST zone as most of us work 9-5, most people return back from work around 6-6:30 and need time to eat, rest and prepare themselves for a night of learning. It is for this reason, after much deliberation between the organisers and the instructor that these times were selected (last year and this year). To avoid running too late, the class after Maghrib is a short one, allowing those who need to go home, to depart by 10pm. This is the best general solution and Allaah knows best.

Currently, there are no plans to do that. We recongise that we are in scattered across several time zones but it will be difficult to accomodate all needs. The classes will be streamed (audio/video), recording will only be in audio and will be made available as CDs later insha'Allaah.

JazaakumAllahu khayraa. I have 2 questions insha Allah:
1) Is it possible to start with the program this week?
2) For those who live in areas where the ṣalāt times clash with class times, or are unable to make it to some classes, what does one do regarding the missed classes?
