The ḥadīths in the Arabic file have been re-organized and set in the order that we will study them in the course (in shaa' Allaah). They have also been conveniently split up into 15 lessons according to our schedule.
For example, notice that it begins with "ad-Dars al-Awwal" (the first lesson) and includes only chapters 1, 71, 72, and 73.
This makes this resource a very convenient study tool, wal-hamdulillaah.
I'm a bit confused. Actually my sister and I are really confused as to how this works. The numbers provided in the summer course schedule don't match with the resources provided? Insha'Allaah it would be helpful if someone explained a lil bit in more depth.
The English file* is only a translation of selected ḥadīths. It only offers some help to those could not purchase the book Sunan Abee Dāwūd that we are studying from. You can still find copies of the book (new&used) at amazon and other places that offer express shipping and you could possibly have it this week for the classes.
