37 Benefits from the Story of Mūsá and Khadhir was created by moosaa.richardson
The following is an Arabic MS Word file, taken from as-Sa'dee's tafsīr of Sūrah al-Kahf. It is 37 benefits from the story of Mūsá and al-Khadhir (verses 60-82).

Ibn 'Uthaymīn said about this passage that it is full of great benefits not found in other books, so students of knowledge should study it.

My respected teacher,

As-salam aliakum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

If I may ask a question. With regards to the story of Musa and Khidr. From the 37 points listed re the benefits taken from this, in particular point #10. Can I say that this is the opinion of our Shaikh Uthaymīn, with regards to the position that Khidr is not considered a Prophet, or is it the opinion of As-Sa'dee's only?

Jazakullah khair

Your student and brother in Islam,

shamsuddin bin prowse

Has the meaning of point number 9 in the benefits been clarified yet, I understand the first statment but I do not know how that relates to the story in the example given
