All of the Arabic months are masculine, except for (الْجُمَادِييْن
): Jumāda al-Ūlā and Jumāda al-Ākhirah -
جمادى الأوَّل، جمادى الآخر
جمادى الأولى، جمادى الآخِرة
In addition, it would be incorrect to say ‘Jumādā al-Thāniyyah,’ or ‘Rabīʿ al-Thānī,’ because as a general rule, when two things exist with no third possibility, the Arabs use (الآخر) as opposed to (ثانٍ).
