Āmīn may be expressed two different ways: āmīn (آمين) with madd and amīn (أمين) with qaṣr.* The first dialect belongs to Banī ʿĀmir and the second to Ahl al-Ḥijāz. Below are poetical citations for both:

يَا ربِّ لا تَسْلُبَنِّي حُبَّها أبدًا وَيَرْحَمُ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ: آمِينًا

تَبَاعَدَ منِّي فِطْحَلْ إِذْ دعوته أَمِين فزاد الله مَا بيننا بُعْدا
