The Prophet (ṣallallāhu ͑alayhī wa-sallam) said: Two blessings are wasted by the people: health and free time.

From the Ḥadīth of Muʿadh ibn Jabal: The Prophet (ṣallallāhu ͑alayhī wa-sallam) said: A servant's two feet will not move on the Day of Judgement until he is questioned about four (things): His youth, how he spent it, his knowledge, how he acted upon it, his wealth, how he earned it and how he spent it, and his body, how he used or wasted it.

When looking at this Ḥadīth, you will find that half of these matters revolve around time: age, youth and how he used it.

Al-Baghawī mentions that al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī said: I came across people who were more stingy about their time than their money.

From the best way to usitile your time is by obtaining beneficial Islamic knowledge.
