The Manhaj of the Salaf Concerning Those Who Oppose the Sunnah
Our noble brother gives an excellent, detailed lecture concerning the methodology of the Salaf and their position concerning those who oppose the Sunnah; they refuted in detail the people of deviation and refused to accept vague statements concerning ʿaqīdah and manhaj.
Abū Khadījah gives a brilliant detailed and concise lecture concerning the position of the Salaf with respect to those who oppose the Sunnah of Allāh's Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and oppose the Daʿwah al-Salafīyyah. He draws upon the works and opinions of the noble scholars Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī, Shaykh Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī, Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn al-ʿUthaymīn, Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān, and other than them (ḥafiẓahum Allāh). The lecture gives detailed insight into the obligation of sticking to the Sunnah, and taking from the Saḥābah and those who came after them from the Salaf, along with evidences from the Qurʾān and the Sunnah. He also touches upon the way of the Imāms of the Salaf such as Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal and Imām al-Barbahārī and the precision of detail in their criticisms of the people innovation and refusing to accept vague open statements; remaining firm and upholding the truth whether they were loved or whether they were reviled; this characteristic can be seen in both scholars of the past and the present, and this is apparent in the examples of the likes of our noble mashāyikh such as Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī and Shaykh ʿʿUbayd al-Jābirī and other than them. He also ties these examples in with examples of some of today's misguided individuals such as the likes of ʿAlī Ḥasan al-Ḥalabī1.
