About this Publication

Blurb:

Four classical works of Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh) have been explained by one of the most prominent and distinguished scholars of recent times.

Shaykh Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā an-Najmī (raḥimahullāh) guides the reader through four classical treatises written by Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh) offering commentary and scholarly explanation for the Three Fundamental Principles (al-Uṣūl al-Thalāthah), the Six Fundamental Principles (al-Uṣūl as-al-Sittah), the Four Precepts (al-Qawāʿid al-Arbaʿ) and the Nullifiers of Islām (Nawāqiḍ al-Islām).

These four treatises are from the most important books through which Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh) has refuted those who deviated from Islamic monotheism (tawḥīd) and redirected worship to other than Allāh the Mighty and Majestic. And here in this wonderful new publication we find that the commentary for these four important books has been presented to us in a single book by Shaykh Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā an-Najmī (raḥimahullāh).

Additional features of this translation:

  • The biography of Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh) by the Noble Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Bāz

  • The explanation of each text is preceded by the al-ʿArabīc original which is presented with full diacritical markings (ḥarakāt).

  • Definitions for specific Islamic technical terminology have been included in the endnotes for terms that might not otherwise be understood by the average reader.

  • Specific references to the Dār as-Salām English translation of the six books of ḥadīth have been added to the endnotes to better assist English readers in their study of ḥadīth.
