Lessons in Manhaj: The Ruling on the Jamāʿāt
An explanation upon the confusion of the times regarding the correct path. Abū ʿIyāḍ overviews the manhaj of Ahl al-sunnah wa-al-jamāʿah in regards to deriving issues of ʿaqīdah and daʿwah. Later, the deviations of current day groups such as al-Ikhwān al-Muslimīn and their deviated manāhij (methodologies) in understanding issues of ʿaqīdah and daʿwah are exposed and their roots unveiled. A great answer to the people of party-spirit who claim the issues of the jamāʿāt are trivial and of secondary concern, when in fact, the multiplicity of groups and movements is the cause for division and des…

The Reason for the Downfall of the Ummah and Its Remedies
A profound khuṭbah from the seminar in Philadelphia, USA (Dec/02). Our noble brother, Abū Khadījah, speaks in regard to destruction, oppression, distress and disunity of the ummah. Explaining its causes and providing light upon its remedies.
In explanation of this oft discussed yet seldom understood topic, Abū Khadījah states,
Imām Mālik (raḥimahullāh) said, ‘The later part of this ummah will not be rectified except by that which rectified its earliest part’.
So that which rectifies in the time of the Ṣaḥābahh is the same thing that will rectify today! It is not anything different; it is not…

How many people are there playing with the youth who have repented to Allāh, claiming Salafīyyah and claiming that they have knowledge? This is only due to their lack of seeking beneficial knowledge and due to them not returning their questions to the people of knowledge from Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamāʿah.

Questions Posed to Shaykh ʿUbayd al-Jābirī (Masjid Raḥmah Conference 2001)
[Q1]: We are a small group of salafī brothers in the USA and we used to be one masjid until there occured between us a fitnah and a split occured between the admin, the general people, and the imam who was with the common people of the masjid. Some of the general people felt this was due to the administration being hard, squandering the money and acting as though they were leaders of the Muslim land and not being truthful. The administration has a problem with the people, and the administration felt that due to the ongoing effort of some of the common people in seeking leadership and petiti…

Ibn Bāz Concerning the Algerian Affair and Additional Guidelines on Terrorism and Revolt
And if anyone from amongst the callers in Algeria said about me that I said to them, ‘Assassinate the police, or use weapons in the call to Allāh,’ then this is wrong. It is not true. Rather, it is a lie! The daʿwah (call) is merely to be done with good manners: ‘Allāh said,’ and ‘His Messenger said.’ It is to be done by reminder, admonition, encouraging and warning.
Al-ʿAllāmah ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn BāzThe Shaykh states “And if anyone from amongst the callers in Algeria said about me that I said to them, ‘Assassinate the police, or use weapons in the call to Allāh,’ then this is w…
