troid.org | Digital Daʿwah

Created in June 1998 with the humble aim of presenting a daʿwah leaflet and an address, troid.org has blossomed over the last 2+ decades to become an Islamic library-magazine with more than 1000 digital items.

Defending the Methodology of the Salaf

From its earliest days, TROID was focused on presenting the Kitāb and Sunnah upon the methodology of Salaf. This was at a time when many distortions, lies and exaggerations were present in the West. The goal of troid.org quickly emerged to present the works of the scholars and students of knowledge in clarifying the Islamic creed and methodology. To this day, this remains a focus, as the general presentation of Islam online continues to slide towards mockery, entertainment and gross distortion of the religion as carried by the Prophet ﷺ and his companions.

Connecting with the Scholars and Students of Knowledge

A key objective of TROID is to connect Muslims regionally in Canada and throughout the West with the major scholars and their students.

Origins

A Message from the troid.org Founder

We would like to thank everyone who has aided this digital project, which is now 23 years old. I was 18 when I first started this project in June, 1998. That summer, I reached out to Salafī Publications and met a kind young brother named Abū Khadījah (ḥafiẓahullāh). He offered to send us 100s of cassettes, translations of scholarly works to aid the daʿwah in Canada. TROID became the first site to offer free audios and the rest as they say is history. By the mercy of Allāh, many have aided this project over the decades, from the senior scholars, students of knowledge, volunteers and donators. Your contributions inspire us to work hard and seek the face of Allāh, continuing to defend the authentic Sunnah of our beloved Messenger, Muḥammad (ﷺ). We thank Allāh for the privilege of participating in this small daʿwah effort.
