Calling the People of the Book to Islām Using the Bible?

Imām Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī

A discussion on the permissibility and consequences of using the Bible as a means of spreading daʿwah.

Today, the abundance of Islamic callers is overwhelming. The Internet has enhanced the claim of many digitized Youtube callers, claiming to call to the truth. From these callers are those who invite the disbelievers to Islām using verses from the Bible, such as Zakir Naik and Shabir Ally. This methodology in daʿwah often opens up the door to interfaith dialogues. Is this methodology of calling to Allāh correct? Are there any consequences to this way? Alhamdulillāh, our Shaykh, briefly discussed this issue in Questions from the Salafīs of Toronto to the Imām of Yemen.
