Shaykh Abū Anwar Sālim ibn ʿAbdillāh Bāmiḥriz is a Yemenī scholar who was born and raised in Kismayo, Somalia, before moving to the country of his heritage at twenty years of age.
He studied in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, benefitting from scholars such as Ibn Bāz, Ibn al-ʿUthaymīn, Rabī ibn Hādī al-Madkhālī, ʿUbayd al-Jābirī and Muḥammad ʿAṭiyyah Sālim. He has been praised by the late scholar, al-ʿAllāmah ʿUbayd al-Jābirī for his manners, conduct and firmness upon the Sunnah.
He will be making his first visit to Canada (إن شاء الله) and will be accompanied by the two noble shaykhs and students of Imām Muqbil ibn Hādī (raḥimahullāh): Abū al-Ḥasan Mālik al-Akhdār and Ḥasan al-Ṣumālī. In addition to Shaykh Anwar Wright, a graduate of the Islamic University of Madīnah.
