An important principle to understand when a caller claims to be “giving daʿwah with ḥikmah (wisdom)” when he cosies up to the Ahl al-Bidʿah, giving talks at their centres, smiling with them, speaking on general topics, remaining silent about their innovation, partisanship and attacks on Ahl al-Sunnah.
