Following the Guidance

Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Bukhārī

In his famous poem, al-Ḥāʾiyyah, the great scholar ibn Abī Dāwūd (d. AH 316) began with the following: “Hold tight to the rope of Allāh and to the guidance”. In this benefit, these opening lines are explained by bringing a verse from the Book of Allāh.
