Questions and Answers from the Seminar: A Day of Islamic Knowledge

Shaykh Abū Khadījah, Shaykh Abū Ḥakīm, Shaykh Abū ʿIyāḍ

Questions and answers from the seminar, A Day of Islamic Knowledge, London, Canada, 2012.

The speaker, Abū Khadījah concludes his lecture, “Islām Is the Sunnah and the Sunnah Is Islām, Cultural Tradition or Islamic Life” quoting some of the writings of Taqi al-dīn al-Nabahani, founder of the cult movement Ḥizb at-Taḥrīr, quoting from his own words, who he reveres as scholars (like Jahm Ibn Ṣafwān). The Q&A session follows:

[Q1]: Should the women wear socks whilst praying?

[Q2]: How do you advise sisters who permit baby showers…?

[Q3]: Does salafīyyah promote extremism such as bomibng buildings, killing Muslims and innocent non-Muslims?

[Q4]: How were the Egyptians supposed to deal with a “tyrant” like Mubarak according to Islām?

Thereafter, a Ḥizb at-Taḥrīr member (of which he was proudly proclaiming during the breaks, whilst he proclaimed who he was successful refuting!), who attended to create argumentation and distract from the important topics being discussed in London, instead, seeking to make some noise about his ḥizb (Ḥizb at-Taḥrīr). He makes some bold and false accusations about the accuracy of some of the accounts in the lecture, rudely interrupting the QA session, trying to turn the event into a promo for Ḥizb at-Taḥrīr.

The ending of the QA session is a good expose on Ḥizb at-Taḥrīr, their ignorance, propoganda and lies.

[Q5]: Is it a bidʿah to gather to recite Qurʾān upon starting a business or buying a house?

[Q6]: What do Ahl al-Sunnah say about the Āḥād Ḥadīth?
