Despite the prevalence of university degrees and college certificates, institutional learning does not qualify Muslims to provide Islamic knowledge. Muslims who are knowledgeable in fiqh are limited in number, despite the fact that many can recite the Quran well. The most revered scholars remain in the past, but Muslims should look to the most knowledgeable amongst us for guidance in the Religion.
