[Q]: If those fitnah makers are listening O’ Shaykh, what is your advice to them?

[A]: If they listen to this speech of ours [i.e. accept the advice], and are upon the Sunnah, then they are from us and we are from them. What should we say to you? We want you to be with the people of Sunnah! So if you leave off innovations and the speech of the people of innovation [i.e. and from the speech of the people of innovation is speaking ill of Ahl al-Sunnah], we will be happy for you and we will become brothers for the sake of Allāh on the condition that you agree with all the principles and guidelines of Ahl al-Sunnah. Do not oppose the Sunnah!

If you return from the speech, statements, and views of the people of innovation and follow the Sunnah in totality, we will be happy for you and we become stronger, because the individual gains strength firstly from Allāh and then through [the help of] his brothers. Increasing the ranks of the people of Sunnah is indeed strength for us in both this life and in the hereafter. May Allāh reward you and grant you understanding of his religion.
