A needed reminder regarding the rights of women in Islām and a stern warning for those who transgress these rights. Our brother, Abū ‘ʿAbdillāh Ḥasan al-Ṣumālī delivers a powerful khuṭbah  based upon a khuṭbah given by the Muftī of Saudi al-ʿArabīa, Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Āl al-Shaykh. He mentions the rights of the spouses with regards to each other. Also, he mentions the evil of not upholding these rights. Then, he breaks down the different forms of injustice against women. The admonition is supported by proofs from the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). This lecture is recommended for brothers and sisters so that both know their rights and that which they will be questioned about on the Day of Reckoning.
