The Circles and Gatherings of Knowledge Are Indeed the Gardens of Paradise in This World

Shaykh ʿAbd al-Razzāq al-ʿAbbad (حفظه الله) said:1 Verily, the gatherings of remembrance are the gardens of Paradise in this world. The Blessing of Eyesight and a Warning Against Misusing It

An emotional warning and please from Shaykh ʿAbd al-Razzāq Ibn ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād concerning the value of sight. The shaykh also discusses the evils of viewing those things that are ḥarām, its ill effect and how it destroys and corrupts, blackening the heart. The speaker becomes emotional and finishes abruptly – the translator, Abū al-ʿAbbās Mūsá Richardson concludes the recording with some points of reflection on the blessing of eyesight.
