Shaykh Ḥamzah ʿAbd al-Razzaq remanences about his time studying under his beloved teacher, al-ʿAllāmah ʿUbayd al-Jābirī. He gives an emotional account of an interaction between al-ʿAllāmah ʿUbayd, Shaykh Uways al-Ṭawīl and himself, when he was requested byShaykh ʿUbayd to walk with him to his home. Something that left Shaykh Ḥamzah awestruck, that someone from far away urban Philadelphia, had the privalege to walk with a scholar, being his companion, his beneficiary. A touching story.
