Muslims are advised to keep a positive outlook when facing trials because there is always good to be found in times of fitnah, as stated in Sūrah al-Nūr. This is in line with the story of Mariam, the mother of the Messenger ʿĪsá (ʿalayhi al-salām) who was falsely accused of fornication.
