Benefits From the Stories of Those Who Repented
Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah said: “Whoever’s sin is from desire (craving), have hope for his repentance, for indeed Ādam disobeyed Allāh from desire (craving) and was forgiven, and whoever’s sin is from arrogance, then fear for his damnation, for indeed Iblīs (Satan) disobeyed Allāh from haughtiness and was cursed.”
al-Mizee, Tahdhīb al-Kamāl
On the authority of Abū Saʿīd Al-Khudrī who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said:
“There was from those who came before you a man who killed ninety-nine people, so he asked about the most knowledgeable of the people on earth and…

Ashʿariyyah: The Tricky Question, ‘Your Qur’anic Recitation – Created or the Speech of Allāh?’
From the points discussed:
The trickery of seeking one answer to the two-fold question , ‘When you recite the Qurʾān, is it your speech or the speech of Allāh?’ a means to confuse and trick the one questioned, since this situation requires explanation and has two issues:
The speech (created action) of the recitor (the conveyor of the Qurʾān in this case)
The Qurʾān being the speech of Allāh.
This type of trickery is commonly employed by the Ashʾarī or Jahmee who wishs to confuse the unsuspecting Muslim. Their basis is rhetoric wheras Ahl al-Sunnah’s base is the Book, the Sunnah a…

Ashʿariyyah: The Qurʾān Is Created (Indecisiveness Concerning the Speech of Allāh)
From the Points discussed:
Clarifying the Ashʾarī doubt concerning the āyah:
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ ﴿١٩﴾
Verily, this is the Word (this Qurʾān brought by) a most honorable messenger [Jibrīl (Gabriel), from Allāh to the Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)].
[al-Takwīr 81:19]
Their claim that the speech of Jibrīl is created and therefore the Qurʾān is created and not the speech of Allāh!
The deficient nature of one who cannot speak and how this does not befit the Lord of Creation

Ashʿariyyah: The Roots of the Sect (Kullābiyyah)
This is the madh′hab of the Ashāʿirah which split off from the Muʿtazilah and the Muʿtazilah split off from the Jahmiyyah, and then many more sects branched off, all having their foundation in the madh′hab of the Jahmiyyah.
Al-ʿAllāmah Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-FawzānThe madh′hab of the Ashaa’irah branched off from the Muʿtazilah and the name is an ascription to Abū al-Ḥasan al-Asha’aree (may Allāh have mercy upon him) who used to be a Muʿtazilī, then Allāh favoured him and he recognised the falsehood of the Muʿtazilī madh′hab. So he stood in the mosque on a…

A General Overview of the Ashʿarī Creed
We do not speak with Ta’weel (interpretation) of the Muʿtazilah, the Ashʾarīs, the Jahmiyyah, the apostates, the anthropomorphists (Mujassimah and Mushabbihah), the Karrāmiyyah and those who declare Allāh to be like His creation (Mukayyifah – those asking about the modality of His attributes). Rather we accept them [the texts about Allāh’s attributes] without interpretation (Ta’weel) and we believe in them without declaring any likeness with the creation (Tamthīl).
Ashʿariyyah: An astray sect that claims to follow Abū al-Ḥasan al-Ashʿarī, they deny all of Allāh’s Attributes except seven…

Advice to Al-Jamāʿat al-Tablīgh
If you call to Islām – you have to know what it is, beginning with Imaan and perhaps the brothers will recall the Ḥadīth: “That a man came to the Prophet ﷺ with very white clothes and black hair…
Shaykh Muḥammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī”Praise be to Allāh. Salams and Salat on the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ”
Q: Where do the Jamaa’at-Tableegh go wrong? What is the remedy for their situation?
A: The remedy is Knowledge, as we have always advised them. Instead of going out for this “Khurooj”, which has no basis in the Sunnah, whereas they make it a Sunnah to be followed. Rather they should sit in the Mo…

Was Ibn Sīnā from amongst the Scholars of Islām?
I am not aware of him having narrated anything from the Islamic sciences, and even if he did, it would not be permissible to narrate from him because he is a perverted, deviant, philosopher.

Reciting Verses Relative to the Khuṭbah Topic During Ṣalāt al-Jumuʿah Instead of Those Recited by the Messenger (ﷺ)
May Allāh treat you well, O Eminent Father; a questioner asks:
[Q]: What is the ruling on the one who delivers the Friday sermon reciting within the prayer, verses which appropriately fit the topic of the sermon and taking this as his regular practice in every Khuṭbah?
[A]: Do you mean that he recites thus in the Ṣalātul-Jumuʿah or at the end of the Khuṭbah? If what is meant is that he recites this in the Ṣalātul-Jumuʿah, then this has not been legislated nor has it been narrated (from the Prophet) (صلى الله عليه وسلم). That which has been narrated is that he should recite:
سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَ…
