Based on my observations of al-ʿUmaysān and what he has reached of deviation, indeed I warn all of the Salafīs, wherever they are, against him

All praise is due to Allāh alone and may the peace and blessings of Allāh be upon His Messenger, his family and companions.

Allāh has blessed us—after the Ḥajj season—with the opportunity to visit the virtuous Shaykh, al-Wālid, al-ʿAllāmah, Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī—may Allāh preserve him—at his house in the city of the Prophet, may Allāh protect it. We found the Shaykh in a good state of health and well-being. He was reading a document regarding the mistakes of Muḥammad ibn Hādī, may Allāh guide him.

It was a blessed sitting wherein the Shaykh welcomed us and answered the questions which were presented to him by his sons from Masjid al-Farūq (Montreal) in Canada. This meeting was regarding the fitnah of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿUmaysān and his continued disturbance of the Salafī centres and mosques in Canada, as well as his quest to meet with the bigoted blind followers of Muḥammad ibn Hādī—may Allāh guide him—to plan conferences with them, in order to disrupt (the daʿwah) of the Salafī centers and mosques who have openly freed themselves from and abandoned him because of his disregard for the admonishment of al-ʿAllāmah, Rabīʿ ibn Hādī, who has advised him against entering into this fitnah. Rather, he (ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿUmaysān) has reached a point where he would call some of the common folk—who have not been to any of his talks except once or twice—and secretly meet with them in order to deceive them with the argument that he has been oppressed, that Shaykh Rabīʿ has become aged, that Shaykh Rabīʿ does not grasp everything and that his inner circle do not narrate to him except that which they desire.

Shaykh Rabīʿ—may Allāh preserve him—responded to this by saying:

Based on my observations of al-ʿUmaysān and what he has reached of deviation, indeed I warn all of the Salafīs, wherever they are, against him (ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿUmaysān). He has dreadfully deviated and has begun to support falsehood in opposition to the truth. Therefore, be extremely wary of him. Do not host him in any country nor in any Mosque.

During this meeting, Shaykh Rabīʿ advised some of the Salafī doctors from Edmonton, Canada—who were present in the meeting—to stop financially supporting ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿUmaysān, after previously supporting him with sums of money. Shaykh Rabīʿ said to them: Do not even give him a mustard-seed.

The virtuous Shaykh concluded with a piece of advice directed to his sons from Masjid al-Farūq (Montreal)—and generally to the Salafīs worldwide—to have Taqwá of Allāh. Thereafter, he pleasantly bid us farewell by supplicating for us. May Allāh preserve him.
