From it the statement of Suhayb Ḥasan that ‘He (Shaykh Rabīʿ) is my contemporary’ and that ‘al-jarḥ wa-al-taʿdīl is finished’ and from ʿAbd al-Hādī, the clear praise of Mawdūdī as he mentioned him as ‘a great, great Scholar’.
