Bismillāh, wal-hamdulilāh, was-ṣalātu was-salāmu 'ʿalá rasoolillāh,
Summer Islamic Courses (1431/2010) Announced!!
It is with great pleasure that we announce the scheduled Summer Islamic Courses (1431 / 2010). During the '07 and '08 summers, we conducted academic-based Islamic courses with our brother and guest instructor, Abū al-ʿAbbās Mūsá Richardson. Abū al-ʿAbbās is currently a post-graduate student at Umm al-Qura University in Saudi al-ʿArabīa. The courses were very beneficial, the teaching methods, easy participation and interaction made the experience pleasing for all students. The pace was easy going allowing beginner and intermediate student alike to feel satisfied. The course is academic including handouts, assignments, quizzes, exams and certificates. The course is interactive featuring local and online live attendance (added in '08) with interaction between instructor and student, an online forum for discussion and a dedicated email group. Here is some of feedback from prior students:
"Mashallah, it was a wonderful course. Very beneficial, Alhumdulillah! May Allāh Reward you all..... I think it would be nice to have more than just one course a year. Maybe, one every six month!"L. Weaver
"...Al Hamdulillah this course was very beneficial from its beginning to it's end, may Allāh reward firdaus to all those who organized it, taught it, and learned from it. Allāhuma Amīn." M. Jones
"Jazahumullahu khayran, those who were involved in setting up the course, maintaining it, teaching it, attending to our teachers needs, and the students. The course was extremely beneficial walhamdulillah..." A. Ādam
