Connecting Canadian Communities
Canada is one of the largest countries in the world. By the mercy of Allāh, the Most High, the daʿwah of Ahl al-Sunnah has spread to many corners of this vast country. Unlike other nations, these communities are not within a short driving distance. Vancouver and Toronto are separated by 3359KM. With the intention of bringing communities together, we are organising a Canadian webinar series.

TROID is located in the Weston neighbourhood in Toronto. The community sees 200 or so attendees for Ṣalāt al-Jumuʿah with weekly attendance for lessons topping 50 people. TROID was established in the 1990s and continues to be active in organising daʿwah in Canada.

The community of the BC lower mainland consists of 5 families who gather occasionally to listen to recorded classes authored by students of knowledge.
Calgary
Maktabah As Sunnah was established in 2022 and serves a growing Salafi community in the city. More than 30 brothers and sisters regularly attend various classes offered by the centre, including Kitāb al-Tawḥīd, Sharḥ al-Sunnah, Arabic language and tajwīd, classes for sisters, and children. Additionally, over 50 brothers and sisters from across the city gather for Jumuʾah prayers.
Edmonton
The Ahlul Hadeeth Association at the University of Alberta is an industrious group of young Muslims who eagerly promote the authentic Sunnah. They recently recieved a package of fliers from TROID for distribution.

Fort McMurray
Fort McMurray is a working community in Northern Alberta, home to a diverse group of Muslims. Many Salafis from across Canada have relocated here for employment opportunities, which has created a great environment to spread the salafi daʿwah. Local activities include weekly khuṭbah at an area high school, as well as weekly classes and study groups focused on ʿaqidah and manhaj
