Allāh’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

“By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muḥammad, there is none from this nation, whether Jew or Christian, who hears of me and then dies without having believed in what I was sent with except he will be of the dwellers of Hellfire.”[1]

Al-ʿAllāmah Muḥammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī commented:

This ḥadīth is explicit in that whoever hears of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and the message he was sent with—that having reached them in the manner Allāh revealed it—and then does not believe in him (صلى الله عليه وسلم), their final abode will be the Fire. There is no distinction in this between a Jew, Christian, Magian or agnostic.
My personal belief is that many among disbelievers would hasten to enter into Islām in multitudes if they were presented the opportunity to look at its foundations, beliefs and legislated acts of worship, as occurred at the inception of Islām. I truly wish that some Islamic countries would send forth to the Western lands callers to Islām who are upon insight of its realities and what has been falsely ascribed to it of superstitions, innovations and lies. This is so that they may be able to present Islām in a proper manner. However, this requires that they have knowledge of the Qurʾān and authentic Sunnah, and knowledge of the sought-after foreign languages. Though, this is truly something rare, nearly non-existent. Therefore, this matter requires great preparation; perhaps they may do it.[2]
