Rules

Staying at the Masjid

Individuals or groups who wish to stay at the masjid for events must appoint a group leader and check-in with the centre’s administration for approval. No food or drink is allowed anywhere in the building, this is strictly enforced.

Local Lodging

Staying in the Area

The best option for a local stay near TROID is AirBnB. There are no hotels in the immediate area but there are usually a number of AirBnB options. One can search 874 Weston Rd. in AirBnb for best results. For hotels, the nearest area to search is YYZ Pearson Airport (Expedia, Booking etc.) Look for hotels in/around Eglinton Ave. W. (Dixe/Eglinton). This will be a 15 min. drive approximately.

The Centre

Located in the heart of Weston, TROID (Masjid al-Furqān & Islamc Daʿwah Centre) services the neighbourhood of Mount Dennis and Humber. The community is diverse, made up of people from around the world including many converts. The centre has a youthful vibe and is known for being a place to acquire authentic knowledge upon the Kitāb and Sunnah, connecting the community to the major scholars and their students.

TROID is a daʿwah organisation focused on presenting the Kitāb and Sunnah upon the methodology of Salaf. We seek to defend Islām from the many distortions, lies and exaggerations present today in the West.
