From the most important of affairs is to:

Firstly: have fear of Allāh and be dutiful to Him.

Secondly: to seek beneficial knowledge: The excellence and virtues of seeking knowledge are mentioned. Īmān cannot be complete except with beneficial knowledge and righteous actions.

Thirdly: beware of lying. Only speak the truth and do not lie. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Adhere to truthfulness.

Allāh says:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ ‎﴿١١٩﴾

O you who believe! Be afraid of Allāh, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds).
[al-Tawbah, 9:119]

Fourthly: strive to have good manners.
