6. A person must stand in prayer, it is a rukn for all except:
i. Those engaged in ṣalāt al-khawf2 and intense combat. Under such circumstances, they are permitted to pray while riding.

Fasting the month of Ramaḍān is an obligation upon all Muslim men and women who are capable of fasting. Fasting is also recommended for boys and girls who have passed the age of seven years old who are able to endure it; it is also upon those in authority over them to order them to fast if they can endure it — the same way they are ordered to establish the prayer. In the West, Muslims often interact with non-Muslims in discussions surrounding Islām. Some Muslims, in these situations, bring up issues such as Jihād and the Ḥijāb. Meanwhile, they fail to convey the most important aspect of the religion — Tawḥīd (that none has the right of worship except Allāh).
