The Truth Is Undefeated
Ibn Ḥazm al-Andalusī (d. 456 AH) said:
“Even great armies are defeated but the sound evidence is never overcome…Many Prophets were killed, but their evidence has never been overcome.”[1]
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 AH) wrote to some of his relatives in Damascus:
“The truth is always in a state of victory, elevation, and increase, while falsehood is in decline, humiliation, and coming to an end.”[2]
