What Do To If Invited to a Non-Muslim Wedding

Shaykh Abū Idrīs

Muslims are not permitted to enter places of worship where other than Allāh is worshipped (such as churches and temples). Additionally, non-Muslim wedding parties typically contain open sinning such as alcohol consumption, free-mixing, singing and dancing.

Ustādh Abū Idrīs answers a question on attending a wedding at a Catholic church and how to deal with invites to non-Muslim weddings.

The benefit is excerpted from the lecture entitled: Ḥidāyah (Guidance) and Its Fruits, from the 2018 Summer Seminar: The Methodology of the Salaf in Times of Fitnah.
