The Agreement of Ahl al-Bidʿah in Their Verbal and Physical Attacks on Ahl al-Sunnah
The People of Truth have been subject to attacks since the dawn of time. An old tactic of the people of falsehood to silence the truth by any means necessary. In the time of ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib the Khawarij declared him to be a disbeliever, and that is what ultimately justified their fighting against him and the Muslims.
We see these tactics being employed today by Daniel Haqiqatjou and his sympathizers who unequivocally declare Muslims “zionists”, “rabbis”, and “agents”, working under the payroll of disbelievers.

This ex-communication (takfīr) of Muslims from the fold of Islām leads to the justification of any form of verbal or physical attacks against the People of Sunnah and Salafiyyah as we have seen unfold recently with our noble brother Shamsi,1 may Allāh protect him.
We are reminded of the statements of Abū Qilābah and his student ʾAyūb al-Sikhtiyānī who would consider all of the People of Innovation to be Khawārij without differentiating between them, as recorded in Imām al-Lālakāʾī’s Explanation of The Fundamental Beliefs of The People of Sunnah, volume 1, page 143:
ʾAyūb use to call all of the People of Innovation: Khawārij. He would say, “The Khawārij differ in name but unite upon the sword”.
Likewise, the profound statement of Abū Qilābah [d. 104 AH], the noble tābʿī, who mentioned a resonating statement over 1300 years ago, which perhaps applies more so today than yesteryear.
Sulaymān b. Ḥarb informed us, Ḥamād b. Zayd narrated, on the authority of ʾAyūb [al-Sikhtiyānī], that Abī Qilābah said:
Indeed the people of desires are the people of misguidance. I do not see any other end for them except the fire. Try them, you will not find a single one upholding a position or statement without the matter resorting to the sword.
The hypocrites were of different types. He then recited:
And among them are those who made a covenant with Allāh, [saying], “If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous.”
[al-Tawbah, 9:75]
And among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. If they are given from them, they approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry. [al-Tawbah, 9:58]
And among them are men who annoy the Prophet and say: “He is (lending his) ear (to every news).” Say: “He listens to what is best for you…”
[al-Tawbah, 9:61]
So they differed in their speech but were united in their suspicion and denial. As for these (the people of desires today), they differ in their speech but unite in (resorting) to the sword. I do not see an end for them except the fire.
Ḥamād said: ʾAyūb then mentioned after this statement or at the beginning of it, ‘By Allāh, he was from the fuqahāʾ who possessed understanding’, referring to Abū Qilābah.”2
Throughout Islamic history, the daʿwah of Ahl al-Sunnah has always been open, apparent and welcoming. We do not fear the blame of those who blame nor can we be intimidated. In recent decades, various groups, namely takfiris, have threatened the callers to salafiyyah but we have not wavered, speaking the same words into the same microphones with consistency and forthrightness. The scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah and their students are men, not cowards. They stand tall in the face of the impotent threats of Ahl al-Bidʿah, speaking directly, facing the opposers, not ambushing the backs of men in numbers and scurrying away like rats returning to the sewer of misguidance.
Endnotes:
1- In reference to an attack that took place on Sunday November 12th, 2023 in which the noble brother and caller to Islām, Shamsi (from the UK) was greeted deceptively by four (Muslim) men who, after the salams, proceeded to jump him and attack him viciously. They were unsuccessful in their act of cowardice, inflicting a minimal amount of damage. Nonetheless, this is a plain modern-day example of the sheer disdain for Ahl al-Sunnah. Many years ago, a similar attack was attempted against the noble Imām, Muḥammad Amān al-Jāmī, in the ḥaram no less, after the iqāmah had been made. The khawārij ignored the call to prayer, and in a fit of rage, tried to attack the Shaykh, failing in their attempts.
