Indeed the Companions and the tābiʿīn, and those who followed them, and the scholars of the Sunnah were gathered and in agreement about this, about attacking (in refutation) the people of innovation and making hijrah from them.
If one were to research the styles of writing that these people employ and what they present as facts in one place when it suits their purposes, and the total opposite in another place when it suits their purposes, he would find it to be very devious and misleading.

The Ḥadīth is honour. Whoever wants the world for it will get the world, and whoever wants the Hereafter by it will get the Hereafter.
The Virtues of Ḥadīth
From ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿUmar Ibn al-‘Ās who said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

ʿAbdullāh Ibn al Mubārak said: “The isnād (chain of narrators for ḥadīth) is from the Religion.”
