15 Points of Advice for Those Making ʿUmrah

15 points of reflection and benefit:
al-Ikhlās (sincerity) – ʿUmrah like any other act of worship is required to be done sincerely for Allāh alone
There is no Ikhlās except by shunning ar-Riyaa’ (showing off), don’t boast and take pictures (‘umrah selfies) in the middle of the acts of ʿUmrah! Don’t potentially change your intention or invent stoppages in an act of worship!

Accuracy in Transcribing When Publishing and Its Importance

Advice to transcribers on how to, and how not to, transcribe the works of the scholars. As he mentions, “sloppy people who go to YouTube and turn audio into a published book.” From honouring the scholars is to approach them about their recordings (for review) before turning them into printed English books etc.

How to Stop the Fundraisers and Donation Pleas?
From the points discussed:
We have needs to ask the people to come together to service the daʿwah (masjids, schools etc.) or an obligation to assist the poor etc. They are communal obligations
The optimal situation is one where daʿwah is able to be made, free of the message of requests for donations
There are people who have gone overboard in their criticism of organisations who fundraise (due to a need)
